C&G| Oceano Hotel & Spa Half Moon Bay Wedding

Courtney & Greg got married at the beautiful Oceano Hotel & Spa Half Moon Bay. Oceano Hotel & Spa Half Moon Bay is located at the Half Moon Bay Harbor, which makes it a wonderful beach wedding venue in the San Francisco Bay Area. This is easily one of my favorite weddings this year. The couple are super cute and the wedding venue is also my favorite. I have photographed multiple weddings at Oceano Hotel & Spa Half Moon Bay.  It is great coming back and work with Courtney & Greg for their big day. Courtney and Greg had one of the best first looks at the harbor. With blue sky, blue sea and white ships as the background, the whole scenery is just fantastic. By looking at the photos, people may not know that Courtney had to walk a long way for this set of photos. But in the end, it is all worth it and we had a great time. The wedding decoration is also beautiful with seashells at the table and wedding cake. During sunset time, we went to the La Costanera Restaurant at Montara Beach for sunset photos. At the reception, we was lucky to photograph also one of the best wedding dances. Courtney and Greg danced so well that we got some really nice shots.

The following are some selected photos of the wedding at Oceano Hotel & Spa Half Moon Bay. Congratulations to you, Courtney & Greg!

The first photo was taken at the Montara Beach in Half Moon Bay, CA.

N&A| Santa Clara Adobe Lodge Wedding

Nancy & Al got married! Their wedding is such a touching story. Nancy and Al are one of the bridesmaid and groomsmen of their best friends. They were in love with each other forty years ago. Then somehow, they got separated. More than forty years later, Nancy was visiting a vineyard and it turned out that vineyard is Al’s brother’s. So they got in touch with each other again. And finally, they decided to tie the knot after such a long time. Nancy and Al’s wedding ceremony site is at reception is at St. Mary’s Church in Los Gatos, and their wedding reception is at Adobe Lodge in Santa Clara University. Adobe lodge was built in 1822 and is the only adobe brick building remaining from the original Santa Clara Mission. Adobe lodge is also a popular wedding venue in Bay Area. The wedding is so touching and romantic, that we had a great time with this amazing couple.

The following are some selected photos from this romantic wedding at Santa Clara University Adobe Lodge. Congratulations to you, Nancy & Al!

G&C| Aptos Village Park and Santa Cruz Beach Engagement

Gabrielle & Christian are engaged! This lovely couple have known each other for a long time and then got separated by long distance. There is an old Chinese saying “Fate brings people together no matter how far apart they may be”. Love finally bring them together after many years and they are getting married next year. Since both Gabrielle & Christian love mother nature, we took the engagement photos at Aptos Village Park and Seacliff State Beach in Santa Cruz. Aptos Village Park is one of my favorite wedding venues in Great Bay Area.  Seacliff State Beach is one of my favorite photo spots. Gabrielle & Christian prepared some nice props for the engagement session, which turned out to be fantastic.

The following are some selected photos form this engagement session in Santa Cruz. I can’t wait working with them for their wedding in Bay Area next year.

A&A| Hakone Gardens wedding

Amy & Adam got married at one of the favorite wedding venues in Bay Area: Hakone Gardens in Saratoga, CA. It was a beautiful wedding at a beautiful location. Both Amy & Adam are Stanford graduates and we photographed their engagement session in Stanford University this year. One can feel the true love between these two lovely couple. It was raining heavily on the day. Rain on the wedding day is considered good luck, symbolizing fertility and cleansing. Also, the photos can turn out to be great. I had some favorite photos taken on the rainy day. This time, it was no exception. Actually, we had one of the best first look sessions with Amy and Adam on the wedding day thanks to the rain. We had a great time from the beginning to the end.

The following are some selected photos from the wedding at Hakone Gardens in Saratoga, CA. Congratulations to you, Amy & Adam!

Due to privacy concern, we will not post any close up photos for the couple.
