Ruixiao & Wei’s Wedding |Bakers Beach, San Francisco| Santana Row, San Jose

I had great pleasure working with Ruixiao and Wei for their wedding portrait session. My assistant Vicky helped the photo shooting during the whole session and she was simply wonderful! The makeup artisit Thucell also did a wonderful job on the bride’s makeup. We first went to Ruixiao and Wei’s home for the wedding preparation photos. Then we went down to Santana Row at San Jose taking some photos in some special spots such as Hotel Valencia. Then drove up to San Francisco for more wedding photos. We went to the City Hall, Palace of Fine Arts, Bakers Beach, etc. It took a whole day to finish the whole shooting and it was well worth the effort. I had some of the best shots of all time and here are some of my favorites.
Congratulations to you, Ruixiao and Wei!
Sara & Juan’s Wedding, LDS Temple, Oakland
by bayphoto on Apr.18, 2010, under Wedding
Sara and Juan got married at LDS temple, Oakland on 4/17/10. Thanks for the trust from Sara. She booked me just by looking through my website without meeting in person since she was out of state at time of booking. We communicated via emails and it was all planned well.
It rained heavily just five days ago. It was cold until Thursday. Then all became perfect on Saturday. It was perfect 72 Degree F with white clouds and blue sky. The air was refreshing after the rain and the flowers were blooming. The color of the bridesmaids’ dresses is cranberry, which is one of my favorite colors. We took some wedding portraits shots around the LDS temple. There was a small river in front of the temple and flowers surrond it. I got some of wonderful group shots also.
The wedding reception venue is at Sharon heights country club, Menlo Park, CA. The venue is more beautiful than I thought! The high ceiling and the orange light bulbs are just like stars when it is dark outside. The receptionists are very professional and efficient. A ring ceremony was held in a separate room where the bride and groom exchanged rings. After that, there was the standard procedure of cake cutting, bouquet toss, garter toss, first dance …. People danced happily until late night.
Finally, here are the pictures!
What a beautiful lighting at Sharon Heights Golf & Country Club, Menlo Park, CA.
When Sara danced with her father, I was deeply touched …
Congratulations and best wishes to you, Sara & Juan!
