Jay & Nina’s Wedding Ceremony
by bayphoto on Aug.30, 2009, under Wedding
Jay & Nina got married a year ago actually. They would like to celebrate their wedding this year so that the ceremony and party were held now. The ceremony and reception were held in Hiddenbrooke Glof Club, Vallejo, CA on 8/29/09.
Jay is a national guard and is very fun to talk to. Nina knows photography and she liked my style so that I felt very happy shooting their ceremony. Before the wedding, Nina specifically mentioned that she wanted to see the fisheye lens effect. So I will put several picture taken with Nikon 10.5mm fisheye lens here. Finally, the pictures are ready to view and please enjoy!

The cute flower girl.

The following picture was taken with Nikon 10.5mm Fisheye lens. You can see that the vertical wall become circular shape under this lens. Very interesting, huh?

Catherine & Long’s Wedding Party
by bayphoto on Aug.19, 2009, under Wedding
Catherine and Long had their wonderful wedding party at Decathlon Club, Santa Clara. It offers indoor atrium garden, where the twinkle-lit palm trees, majestic main dining room, skylights and two spacious dance floors create a gorgeous setting for the romantic day.

The decorations are very elegant and romantic.

I arrived earlier to take some pictures for them alone before the guests came.

Now the party started. The wine and apple cider tasted very good indeed. Though I was taking pictures, I still could not resist to have a cup after taking the following two pictures.

Oh, so sweet !

Congratulations and best wishes to you, Catherine and Long!

Fashion Shot with Destiny
by bayphoto on Aug.04, 2009, under Fashion
It was a hot sunny day. Destiny asked for a fashion shot in the corn field and sunflower place at Emma Prusch Farm, San Jose. Typically, it is hard to shoot under such a strong sun shine in the open field. Some people may think that it is more difficult to shoot inside a dark room, which is totally wrong. In a dark place, a flash or some subtle lights can create nice effects and it is easy to handle. It is one of the most challenging conditions under the harsh sunshine. I would like to see how well I can handle this case. Furthermore, this was the only time slot I had in late July.
Well, the pictures turned out very well. Here are the proofs
